FAQ: Do you have to have a planner to work with us?

When planning any event, but especially a wedding,  there are many moving parts to coordinate, and hiring a planner is the best way to ensure everything runs smoothly. That said, you don’t have to be working with one to book 775 Bartending. Whether you have a professional planner, a dedicated friend helping you out, or are planning your wedding solo, we’re here to ensure your bar service is seamless and stress-free.

No Planner? No Problem.

If you don’t have a planner, don’t worry—our experience and expertise allow us to step in and help guide you. We’ve worked with countless clients who planned their events themselves, and we’ve developed a streamlined approach to ensure everything goes off without a hitch.

Here are a few tips to help you plan your event effectively without a planner:

  • Provide a Timeline: Let us know when guests will arrive, when you’d like the bar to open and close, and if there are any toasts or events throughout the evening - we will take it from there and you can be sure your guests are having fun with us while you are off taking photos.

  • Communicate with All Vendors: Make sure your caterer, DJ, and all other vendors know your event timeline so we can all stay on the same page and make sure everything is set to go when it’s time!

  • Other Things to Consider: Do you want to have a champagne toast, do you want to serve drinks before the ceremony, do you need more than 1 bar location to keep the flow of your wedding? These are all things to think about when planning the logistics of your day.

We’re happy to work closely with you to create a personalized plan that meets your needs, even without a professional planner. And no, we won’t hike up the price if you’re not working with one either!

Why We Recommend Working With a Planner

When you have a planner, they will take the lead on many details that help streamline your event. They know all the right questions to ask. At 775 Bartending, we love working with planners because they help organize everything from timelines to setup and coordination.

For example, planners ensure everything needed for the bar from liquor to decor is in the designated area, coordinate with other vendors to bring everyone’s individual visions together to create yours, and keep everything running on time. This allows us more time to focus on what we do best: serving amazing drinks and creating a memorable experience for you and your guests.

With a planner in the mix, you can actually enjoy the planning process because you will rest easy knowing  the logistics are being handled by professionals who specialize in creating smooth, cohesive celebrations.

Spotlight: A Planner We Adore

While we don’t require a planner, we do know the value they bring. One of our favorite collaborators is Amanda with Reno Tahoe Enchanted Events. She specializes in turning dream Tahoe weddings into reality and she is the best at it, just ask her 2x Best of Sierra Nevada Award.

In fact, we recently worked with Reno Tahoe Enchanted at a stunning wedding nestled in the Sierra Mountains, where her organizational and planning skills were key.  The venue needed everything brought in, we’re talking rentals, rentals, and more rentals. Amanda was the glue holding all of the vendors and the timeline together. The Bride and Groom were able to fully enjoy their day, stress-free, because of the amazing work that Amanda and her team did!
